What’s new

This house keeps changing — carefully, the way a gallery rearranges a room. Here is a friendly trail of what has unfolded lately. Nothing too sharp; just enough so you know the place is alive and looked after.

Lately

v5.13 — Keepers can walk in with a password as well as a key: sign in on the public site or the desk, and the house remembers — the corner control shows an empty people mark until you are signed in, then a solid one, and says Sign out when you are known. Inside the panel, Signed in: your email sits under your gallery name; saving a signed-in profile emails you a quiet note signed in the house’s current name. Passwords can be revealed with a single eye while typing. The desk mark reads clearly on its dark bar.

v5.12 — The desk now knows its keepers by name: staff accounts live on the people list, each with as many labeled keys as they need — rotate without locking the door.

v5.11 — A media library for site images and theme marks, so the house can change its clothes without a redeploy ritual.

v5.10 — A clearer path from the workshop to the live room: versions and schema that upgrade without losing the furniture.

v5.9 — Quiet notes for the people who keep the lights on: a gentle daily letter of how the house has been breathing — visitors, loves, conversations — so care can stay close.

v5.8 — The gallery can wear more than one name at the door. Words on the About page can shift between familiar voices, and the home can hold different featured weather without changing its bones.

v5.7 — Artworks, artists, and exhibitions can carry a longer story: moments, evidence, a public timeline when it feels right to share — so provenance feels like memory, not paperwork.

v5.6 — A full-bleed home that can rest on a featured image or film; a soft companion in chat when staff are away; the mark and mail of ONE settling in.

v5.5 — News finds clearer pictures and kinship — related works and people sitting nearer each other on the page.

v5.4 — Every visit can leave with a gallery name of its own — something memorable to return by — and the house learns a little more about how people arrive, without turning anyone into a number.

v5.3 — You can talk with the gallery from the corner of the room. Homepage moods: story, grid, and the space between. The site found a steadier home in its own scaffolding.

Earlier chapters

v5.2 – v5.0 — Ways of walking the homepage; a living platform under the pages; sessions that remember a little, so the next visit feels less like starting over.

v4 — A new public house after WordPress: artists, works, exhibitions, news and press in clearer rooms; a small desk for people who care for the list; the version mark appearing softly in the footer so change can be seen.

Before that, the gallery lived elsewhere online. This chapter is the one we are writing together now — Pearl River Delta, Mississippi River Basin, Elbe Water Shed — still one house, still open.

If something feels off, or something delights you, say hello. The version number in the corner is a handshake, not a score.
